Deno will take over as CEO on Sept. 30. He will also remain president of the privately held company.

Greg Brenneman , the company's current CEO, has been appointed executive chairman of the board, Quiznos said. Brenneman, 46, was also chosen as chairman of CCMP Capital Advisors LLC. CCMP is the private equity firm that manages an ownership share of Quiznos.

Separately, Quiznos said it completed two more deals to expand its presence overseas.

The chain said it will develop 100 restaurants in India and will build at least 175 restaurants in Brazil over the next ten years.

The financial terms of the deals were not disclosed.

Quiznos said "discussions are under way" for agreements to bring the chain to Singapore, Chile and Ecuador.
